The New Living Translation
Your Grief

“Joseph named his second son Ephraim, for he said, ‘God has made me fruitful in this land of my grief.’” (Genesis 41:52, NLT).

I can’t imagine the trauma Joseph went through. He was sold into slavery as a young adult, then falsely accused and thrown into prison as a man. He spent years in prison before his dreams came true. This year, make it a point to not gloss over your grief. Learn how to express your sorrow. Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry (Ephesians 4:26-27).

Dear Jesus,

Thank you for choosing us every time. No matter how long it takes, help us to seek Your redemption in our thoughts, words, and actions. Today, make us fruitful in the land of our grief.

Amen.

I can’t imagine to be in prison or slavery. I praise our Lord that I don’t have to go through something like this. I pray for all people who are in situations like this. You can be a prisoner of yourself to. So free yourself through praying and believing in our great God!

Your personal commitment to passing the solution all over had become exceptionally important and have consistently empowered guys and women just like me to attain their goals. Your amazing useful report denotes this much to me and somewhat more to my fellow workers. Thanks a lot; from all of us.
