This week we’re giving away a copy of the NLT Study Bible with the deluxe TuTone Brown/Tan cover.

Here’s some information on this bible and how you can win a copy.

Introducing the NLT Study Bible. The product of over forty Bible scholars and seven years’ work, it is a detailed, comprehensive study Bible. The notes focus on bringing out the full meaning of the text as the original audiences would have understood it, allowing today’s reader to understand the Bible more deeply than ever. Features include 25,900 study notes (over 820,000 words), maps, charts, illustrations, a Hebrew/Greek word-study system, and much more.

Feature details: Ten section introductions provide an overview of the literature and history of each section of the Bible, showing how the books are related to each other and to the rest of Scripture. Theme articles and person profiles (406 total) highlight recurring ideas and describe the lives of those who inhabit the pages of scripture. Also includes 100 Greek and 100 Hebrew word studies, 100 quotations from modern and ancient writers, and words of Christ in red. Another unique feature is that further reading is recommended at the end of each book and section introduction.

I own a New Living Translation Bible and a New Living Translation Life Application Bible (the BEST Bible EVER!)

I gave my life to Jesus after I had come completely broken. I prayed and asked him to forgive me and help me fix my life. My 2nd visit to a new church – a stranger gave me and my husband his treasured Bible. It was highlighted, underlined, and there was personal notations through out. But what grabbed me the most was that I understood what I was reading – It was not the KJV that was the “only” Bible I ever known and never understood. My husband kept that Bible and took me to a Bible bookstore to pick out a Bible of my choice. I picked the New Living Translation Bible for 2 reasons – I thought that it was the “easiest” translation to understand, and because it had a pink & brown fancy “girly” stamped leather cover. I LOVE IT!!!

Anyway – my husband goes to Thrift Stores and picks up used Bibles that we give to people in need of a Bible (just like the man who gave us his Bible in church that day). I would love to win this Bible and give someone the gift of the Lords word.

All Glory to God!
Praise the Lord!

I’ve done all three. Awesome opportunity; the NLT is such an exceptional translation and a Study Bible will be very helpful to my family.

I am so in love with my new NLT Study Bible. It is difficult to put it down to resume my normal day at the office. I thought that I had a decent understanding of the Bible after studying it for years and teaching as well, but then, after I recently purchased the NLT Study Bible, I’m swept away! I don’t have to dig into a ton of other references because this gives me an indepth understanding of the text at hand. I’m so blessed to live in a generation where we have such freedom in our reading and translation styles!

Exodus 34:7 NLT

I lavish unfailing love to a thousand generations.
I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin.
But I do not excuse the guilty.
I lay the sins of the parents upon their children and grandchildren;
the entire family is affected—
even children in the third and fourth generations.”
