One day Moses said to the Lord, “You have been telling me, ‘Take these people up to the Promised Land.’ But you haven’t told me whom you will send with me. You have told me, ‘I know you by name, and I look favorably on you'” (Exodus 33:12, NLT).
I believe God takes us on a journey of faith. He doesn’t just let us see the goods without first experiencing the path that we have to walk before the time is right. Babies don’t drive cars, just like God won’t show parts of His character until the ripe time. Think about it. God waits for you. For me. For us. At just the right time, if we don’t give up–we will see His glory (Galatians 6:9-10). Remember those values you choose for yourself and your family a few weeks ago. Don’t forget. Stay the path!
“It was by faith that Moses, when he grew up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. He chose to share the oppression of God’s people instead of enjoying the fleeting pleasures of sin. He thought it was better to suffer for the sake of Christ than to own the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking ahead to his great reward (Hebrews 11:25-26, NLT). Thank You for being our reward.
To God Be the glory! Amen.
